For obtaining an optimal result the preparation has to be left the whole night and the hair has to be rinsed the next morning. Zinc pyrithione possesses an expressed anti-mycotic effect which is strongest against M. globosa. It stops its proliferation and cleans the skin.
Superficial skin infections
Owing to its anti-microbial action GinGira Zinc Pyrithione has a positive effect in cases of superficial fungal and bacterial skin infections. If this happens, it has to be sprayed several times daily till it disappears completely.

Affected people have dry skin which additionally dries by undergone physiotherapy. GinGira Zinc Pyrithione must be combined with the main treatment. If it includes for example Daivobet, which is applied in the evening, the spray may be used in daytime.
Eczema is the most frequent dermatologic disease. Skin gets rough, starts scaling and cracking, itching and burning appear. These symptoms disappear by applying GinGira Zinc Pyrithione up to 6 times daily. If this happens again, the product has to be applied as an additional therapy. It may also substitute the soap which possesses drying effect.
